SYG-990 Silicon Grease

SYG-990 Silicon Grease is high performance lubricating grease based on special heat resistant ingredients and additive package. Grease is suitable for long term or lifetime lubrication of plain, ball and roller bearing operating at normal to medium loads under high
temperature conditions and to lubricate Rubber O-Rings. It is non-ageing and structurally very suitable grease. it is resistant to hot and cold water and mild presence of alkaline or acid atmosphere. It also protects against corrosion and wear and it is pumpable through centralized lubrication systems. It is pressure resistant and the NS-G version has very good load carrying capacity. Registered by NSF (Class H1) for use where there is potential for incidental contact with food. These products meet the former guidelines (1998) of the US Department of Agriculture Food Safety and Inspection Service (USDA FSIS) for H1 use (lubricant with incidental food contact)
and listed in Miscellaneous Publication No 1419 “List of Proprietary Substances and Nonfood Compounds”.
Product contains only substances permitted under US 21 CFR 178.3570, 178.3620 and 182 for use in lubricants with incidental food contact. SYG-990 Silicon Grease is capable of withstanding high temperature in the range of -60⁰C to 250⁰C on continuous operation. It performs excellently at Dm n factors upped 100,000 and satisfactorily at Dm n factors up to 200,000.

Application
SYG-990 Silicon Grease is recommended for all bearings which have to be operated under high thermal stresses such as in paint curing ovens. Also for hot air blower fan bearings in textile, plastics, wood working and food industries. They work well in stream heated calendar and drying cylinder bearing with normal re-lubrication intervals in paper, textile and plastic industries. For bearings working at temperatures up to 150⁰C and normal operating conditions, it can be used for life time lubrication. Also recommended for bearings
operating in slightly acidic or alkaline atmosphere e.g. in textile machinery, tanneries, phosphatizing equipment or immersion baths which generate aggressive fumes. SYG 990 SILICON GREASE can be used to lubricate Rubber ORings and Seals. Using it during installation helps protect an O-ring from damage by abrasion, pinching, or cutting. It also helps to seal the O-Ring properly, speeds up assembly operations, and improves automated assembly.
