RUSTPET is a high-performance, multi-purpose maintenance fluid developed to penetrate rusted and seized
components, displace moisture, lubricate moving parts, clean light contamination and provide temporary
protection against rust and corrosion.
Its low-viscosity penetrating action enables the product to creep into narrow clearances, threaded
connections, joints and moving mechanisms. After application, RUSTPET leaves a thin protective lubricating
film that helps reduce friction, squeaking, sticking and corrosion.
RUSTPET is designed for industrial, automotive, marine, workshop, maintenance and general engineering
applications commonly served by premium multi-purpose maintenance sprays.
Product Applications
- Surface Compatibility For all variations: RUSTPET demonstrates none to negligible deleterious effect to plastic, rubber, and metal hard surfaces. This includes Acetyl, neoprene/hard rubber, HDPE, PPS Copolymer Poly sulfone, Teflon, Viton, steel, galvanized steel hot dip, electroplated, copper, brass, magnesium, nickel, tin plate, titanium, and zinc. Surface Cautions Nearly all surfaces interact with RUSTPET as they would any high-grade aliphatic petroleum spirit. Certain types of rubber will swell upon prolonged immersion. Wax polishes and certain wax coatings may be softened by RUSTPET. Clear polycarbonate and polystyrene may stress craze or crack. Always test surfaces first.
