SYG-1170 is a high-performance synthetic extreme-pressure grease formulated with Polyalkylene Glycol (PAG) synthetic base fluid and a lithium complex soap thickener. The thickener system provides a high dropping point, excellent resistance to water washout and strong structural stability. The combination of synthetic base fluid and selected additives provides excellent protection against wear, rust, corrosion and high-temperature degradation. The wax-free synthetic base oil provides good low-temperature mobility and pumpability with very low starting and running torque. The relatively low traction characteristics of the synthetic base fluid can also help reduce frictional heat in the load zone of rolling-element bearings.
