SYG-990/ASSEMBLY PASTE

WHITE LUBRICANTS FOR THE FOOD-PROCESSING AND PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRIES

Product Description

SYG-990/ASSEMBLY PASTE is a white lubricating for versatile lubricating and assembly purposes in hygienically sensitive environments. It contains fully synthetic base oils and a special blend of organic and inorganic thickeners.  It is therefore suitable for friction points affected by humidity which normally require the use of special products. Mounting paste for lubricating sliding points at which dark lubricants are not desired and where frictional corrosion is to be avoided for optimum adhesion, clean contamination and other lubricants from sliding surfaces.

Registered by NSF (Class H1) for use where there is potential for incidental contact with food. These products meet the former guidelines (1998) of the US Department of Agriculture Food Safety and Inspection Service (USDA FSIS) for H1 use (lubricant with incidental food contact) and listed in Miscellaneous Publication No 1419 “List of Proprietary Substances and Nonfood Compounds”. Product contains only substances permitted under US 21 CFR 178.3570, 178.3620 and 182 for use in lubricants with incidental food contact.

Applications

SYG-990/ASSEMBLY PASTE is generally suitable for almost all friction points in the food-processing and pharmaceutical industries.

  • ·        As an assembly paste for transition and loose fits to prevent fretting corrosion.

    ·        As a long-term lubricant for low-speed guide rails, hinges, rollers, chains, etc.

    ·        Assembly lubrication of sliding points.

    ·        Screw lubrication at normal temperatures and low speeds.

    ·        Lubrication when joining parts.

Best way is to clean mechanically first (for example, with a wire brush) and then with good cleaner. Apply the paste evenly and thinly with a brush, spatula, etc. Remove excesses. Do not use paste instead of grease and mix only with suitable lubricants.

    Benefits

    •         Prevents frictional corrosion on joint connections of steel parts of all kinds subject to vibration loading under damp-room and aggressive operating conditions.
    •         Low consumption thanks to thin-film lubrication.
    •         Excellent water resistance.
    •         Excellent lubricating and separating effect.
    •         Good corrosion protection behavior.
    •         Metal-free.
    •        Reliable adhesion to the friction point, also when subject to humidity.
    •         Good compatibility with high-alloy steels.
