Product Description

SYG-2700 is high performance silicone grease based on special heat resistant ingredients and additive package. Grease is suitable for long term or lifetime lubrication of plain, ball and roller bearing operating at normal to medium loads under high temperature conditions. it is non-ageing and structurally very suitable grease in NLGI consistency No. 2 range it is resistant to hot and cold water and mild presence of alkaline or acid atmosphere. It also protects against corrosion and wear is pump able through centralized lubrication systems. It is pressure resistant and the NS-G version has very good load carrying capacity. Since it is not conductive, it does not increase electrical current flow and is often applied to electrical connectors that contain rubber gaskets as a means of providing a non-conductive sealer and lubricant for the connector’s rubber parts

.It is completely EPDM-compatible.

SYG-2700 is capable of withstanding high temperature in the range of 220ºC on continuous operation. It performs excellently at Dm.n factors upped 100,000 and satisfactorily at Dm.n factors up to 200,000.

Application

SYG-2700 is recommended for all bearings which have to be operated under high thermal stresses such as in paint curing ovens. Also for hot air blower fan bearings in textile, plastics, wood working and food industries. They work well in stream- heated calendar and drying cylinder bearing with normal re-lubrication intervals in paper, textile and plastic industries. For bearings working at temperatures up to 150ºC and normal operating conditions, it can be used for life time lubrication.

Also recommended for bearings operating in slightly acidic or alkaline atmosphere e.g. in textile machinery, tanneries, phosphatizing equipment or immersion baths which generate aggressive fumes.

Remarks:

Bearing should only be filled half way for optimum results. Before initial filling, thoroughly remove the left over grease and the clean the bearing. Do not mix with other lubricating grease
