SYG-2970/GATE & VALVE GREASE

GAS AND VALVE SEALANT

Product Description

SYG-2970 is manufactured from a synthesized polyester fluid and a lithium soap thickener with or without Molybdenum Disulphide. It offers outstanding performance over wide temperature ranges with the excellent retention and resistance to high-temperature degradation. In addition, it resists water washing, provides superior load-carrying ability, reduces frictional drag, and prevents excessive wear.

Gate and Valve Sealant is specifically designed for use where light hydrocarbon liquids and gases are present, making it the sealant of choice for pipeline and compressor station usage. Pump able to temperatures as low as 250°C with the appropriate pump.

Application

SYG-2970 Gate and Plug Valve Sealant are ideal for any plug valve application requiring aliphatic liquid and gas resistance. Ideal for pipeline and compressor station operation. Excellent for use in heavy H2S, saline or salt water service. Also helps to seat the O-Ring properly, speeds up assembly operations, and improves automated assembly. Although conventional solvents like methanol, ethanol, IPA, chlorinated solvent, aromatic solvents, acetone and other ketones can be utilized
