SYG 556 PFPE PTFE GREASE
OXYGEN COMPATIBLE GREASE
Product Description
SYG 556 PFPE Grease is long-lasting, white buttery greases which are nonreactive, nonflammable, and safe in chemical and oxygen service. Perfluoropolyethers (PFPE) is a special kind of perfluorinated polymer compound, It only contains carbon, oxygen and fluorine, but no hydrogen or silicone. It will not burn or support combustion. It is ideal grease for vacuum parts which are exposed to air such as rods in vacuum loading locks, vacuum door seals, moving aperture holders and valves. It does not degrade in contact with air, does not contain any silicone and is basically chemically inert. It has good physical and chemical properties like: high temperature resistance, anti-oxidation, non-flammable, non-volatile, low pour point, low surface tension, high dielectric, good lubricating property, chemical inertness, bio-inert, and etc.
Chemical inertness: PFPE does not react
with most corrosive chemical agents like inorganic acids, inorganic bases,
organic acids, organic bases, halogens and oxidizing agents. So it has very
strong chemical inertness.
2) Consistence: PFPE has good
consistence with many materials like: fuel, plastic, rubber, metal, coating,
and etc. Therefore, it has many extensive applications.
3) Non-flammability: compare with other
lubricants, it is more suitable for high temperature and the hash working
conditions.
4) Di-electrical property: PFPE has
good di-electrical property, high dielectric strength, high resistivity, and
low dielectric constant.
5)Physiological inert: PFPE has no
toxicity to the organs of the human body, through oral test and skin contact
experiment to the animals, the data shows PFPE has low toxicity and has no bad
effects.
6) Low volatility: PFPE has lower vapor pressure than hydrocarbon lubricants with the same viscosity. The low volatilization ensures longer service time of the lubricants.
Benefits
- Oxygen Compatible Grease
- Maximum water and steam resistance
- Extraordinary resistance to chemicals, for example to solvents, for
example benzene, benzol, acetone, trichloroethylene and against inorganic
acids, such as sulphuric acid, hydrochloric acid and nitric acid as well
as stearic acids, alcohols and halogens .
- Excellent plastic and elastomer compatibility.
- For long-term lubrication of lubrication points subjected to high
pressure up to 300°C.
- Broad range of applications above the temperature limits of other
lubricating greases.
- Reduced maintenance and lubricant costs due to possible lifetime lubrication.
Applications
- Grease lubrication of friction and rolling bearings in the
high-temperature range
- Application, for example at tunnel kiln cars, baking, burn-in and
drying furnaces, hot gas units, reaction vessels, boiler plants, roller
and conveyor rollers in continuous furnaces, etc.
- Use at bearing points under influence of chemicals/fuel.
