Product Description

Marine plus oils are high quality detergent, dispersant type of crankcase oils blended from selected lube base oils with inherent oxidation and thermal stability. The special chemistry used ensures the desired level of performance in heavy duty diesel engines. Petrel plus Marine plus oils have a high TBN to take care of engines operating on residual fuels having higher sulphur. The use of Petrel plus Marine plus oils in engines using high sulphur residual fuels is expected to provide the following performance benefits:

·       Sufficient alkalinity reserves to neutralize acidic products of combustion due to high sulphur fuels.

·       Good corrosion protection.

·       Superior anti-wear properties.
