DRAWPLUS 45

ALUMINUM PUNCHING OIL FOR FINS

Product Description

DRAWPLUS 45 is high quality oil suitable for pressing and drawing of aluminum sheets for production of containers, trays and caps used in pharmaceutical and food industry and blanking of grates, fins and heat exchangers used in mechanical and electrical industries.
This lubricant is mainly made from paraffinic hydrocarbon solvent and contains no chlorine and no sulfur additives. But it contains special additives to extend tool life, to control friction, to protect parts surface from corrosion. Since this blanking oil has an ability to evaporate and it leaves only very thin film on the parts after finishing the press operations, it has been satisfactorily used as “cleaning less stamping oil” in various parts-manufacturing industries.
DRAWPLUS 45 will evaporate nearly completely under usual tool temperatures. The alloy element secures good electrical conduct resistance even after longer storage times. Surface & dimension tolerance will be ensured even with high number of strokes.

Applications

DRAWPLUS 45 has been developed as odor free solvent – based metal working oil designed for use in relatively light- duty operation such as blanking, bending, punching and piercing of thin sheet- metal parts. It has been used for a wide variety of parts manufacturing operations for a long time. Particularly in electric and electronic industry lots of successful result has been obtained on copper and copper alloy stamping operations such as electric contacts and connectors.

DRAWPLUS 45 has especially been developed for forming electrical contact materials.
