SYG-675 WIRE ROPE LUBRICANT (QUICK-DRY)

Product Description

SYG-675 represents a major technological development in lubricating and protecting wire rope. This product is formulated to penetrate to the core and then dries to the touch in 3-4 minutes.

SYG-675 provides positive lubrication and positive rust protection without the usual cumbersome problems of application. Once applied it forms an elastic coating, enabling the surfaces to remain free of dirt and other contaminates.

It can be removed with any standard solvent. It contains a revolutionary flexible rust preventative which has been scientifically combined with a specially compounded lubricant. SYG-675 also has extreme pressure and anti-wear additives which will insure longer life to the wire rope as well as associated machinery. It is simple to apply either manually or with automatic dispensing systems by spray, brush or drip application.

Applications

SYG-675 has almost limitless applications although it is primarily formulated for marine applications where salt water presents a highly corrosive environment. In addition to wire ropes ,it can be used as a protective coating for numerous other marine equipment on the docks, on ships or on drilling platforms. These would include anchors, bearings, buoys, piling, thread lubricants, chains, pulleys, gears and piping. Also an ideal coating for storage compartment walls to prevent rust and corrosion.
