Product Description

HYDRO PLUS VG 10 is a premium grade, mild anti-wear hydraulic oil specifically formulated without zinc additives. The absence of zinc makes HYDRO PLUS VG 10 suitable for hydraulic systems using Lucas Pumps which incorporate silver plated slipper pads, or in applications specifying ash less hydraulic oils. HYDRO PLUS VG 10 is an   extra light oil principally used as a hydraulic fluid in telemotor control systems. It is also suitable as spindle oil for high-speed spindles.
HYDRO PLUS VG 10 is designed for use in hydraulic systems incorporating Lucas Pumps but will perform well in other pumps (except the highly rated vane types, such as the Vickers Detroit V105C Models). 

Applications

HYDRO PLUS VG 10 is designed for use as a hydraulic fluid in telemeter control systems and provide the fast response essential at all temperatures. The additives in Hydro plus VG 10 ensure high resistance to oil thickening in service, complete protection of machined surfaces against corrosion and the avoidance of air entrainment, which can cause jerky movements or partial failure of hydraulic mechanism. 
HYDRO PLUS VG 10 contains oxidation and corrosion inhibitors as well as anti-foam and antiwar additives. Contamination with other oils, especially engine oils, must be avoided due to probable impairment of the air release, anti-foaming and demulsibility characteristics of Hydro plus VG 10
