SYG-990/3920 High Performance Semi Fluid Food Grade Grease

Product Description

SYG-990/3920 High Performance Semi Fluid Food Grade Grease is a homogenous mixture of Polyalphaolefin oils and aerogel of silicone oxide which forms a translucent material of grease like consistency which is maintained over a wide temperature range of -60 °C to 200 °C. It does neither crack nor dry-up or separate into layers due to aging. It spreads uniformly and adheres on to dry surfaces of metals, ceramics, rubbers, PVC, electrical insulation etc. It is ideally suited for use on equipment that has been fitted with small bore lubrication pipework, or those fitted with long pipe runs, where blockages can cause lubricant starvation which can result in premature failure of the lubricated components.

SYG-990/3920 Grease is approved by NSF International as H1 grade Lubricant. The product meets requirements of USDA H1* 21 CFR. (Registered by NSF (Class H1) for use where there is potential for incidental contact with food. These products meet the former guidelines (1998) of the US Department of Agriculture Food Safety and Inspection Service (USDA FSIS) for H1 use (lubricant with incidental food contact) and listed in Miscellaneous Publication No 1419 “List of Proprietary Substances and Nonfood Compounds”. Product contains only substances permitted under US 21 CFR 178.3570, 178.3620 and 182 for use in lubricants with incidental food contact.)

Recommended Usage

Non-oxidizing and strongly hydrophobic highly stable at a temperature of - 60°Cto 200°C, resistant to most chemicals and high resistance to aging. It has been particularly designed for use in automatic lubrication systems commonly found in the food, pharmaceutical and other clean industries. This grease is particularly suited to automatic lubrication systems.

Features & Benefits

·       Offers an excellent wide temperature resistance of -20°C to +150°C.

·       Excellent pumpability.

·       Excellent stability resulting in extended relubrication intervals and a reduction in lubricant usage.

·       Excellent wear resistance ensuring components last longer.

·       The white appearance gives good visibility in translucent pipework to allow easy checking that the system is dispensing correctly.

·       Provides a tenacious, EP film with excellent water wash off resistance and corrosion protection.
