Product Description

SYG-990/FGPTFE (Extra) Grease consists of a Silicone Lubricating fluid thickened with a special complex Lithium soap and PTFE. This grease is primarily designed for use in EPDM seals & fittings, valves and O-rings in the food and beverage industry and ball bearings operation under moderate to heavy loads and at temperature (- 50 ° C to 220° C). This grease will be available in three consistencies (light, medium and heavy) and can be applied by spatula, grease gun.

  SYG-990 FGPTFE (Extra) is approved by NSF International as H1 grade Lubricant. The product meets requirements of USDA H1* 21 CFR. (Registered by NSF (Class H1) for use where there is potential for incidental contact with food. These products meet the former guidelines (1998) of the US Department of Agriculture Food Safety and Inspection Service (USDA FSIS) for H1 use (lubricant with incidental food contact) and listed in Miscellaneous Publication No 1419 “List of Proprietary Substances and Nonfood Compounds”. Product contains only substances permitted under US 21 CFR 178.3570, 178.3620 and 182 for use in lubricants with incidental food contact.)

Applications

·        Maximum temperature is 180 ºC, with a peak temperature up to 200 ⁰C

·        Bearings, slides, chains, general-lubrication Medium-high speed bearings.

·        Lubrication of plastics and plastics to metal contact.

·        Oven bearing lubrication.

·        Applications which require boundary lubrication with PTFE.

•    Compatible with most rubbers and plastics and is a superior lubricant for "O" rings

Remarks

Bearing should only be filled half way for optimum results. Before initial filling, thoroughly remove the left over grease and the clean the bearing. Do not mix with other lubricating grease.
