SYG-990/PFPE PTFE GREASE
FOOD GRADE OXYGEN COMPATIBLE GREASE
Product Description
SYG 990 FOOD GRADE PFPE PTFE Grease is long-lasting, white buttery greases which are nonreactive, nonflammable, and safe in chemical and oxygen service. It only contains carbon, oxygen and fluorine, but no hydrogen or silicone. It will not burn or support combustion. It is ideal grease for vacuum parts which are exposed to air such as rods in vacuum loading locks, vacuum door seals, moving aperture holders and valves. It does not degrade in contact with air, does not contain any silicone and is basically chemically inert.
SYG 9990 FOOD GRADE PFPE PTFE Grease consists of perfluoropolyether (PFPE) fluorinated synthetic oil and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) chosen for their ability to meet the stringent requirements of the food industry. Registered by NSF (Class H1) for use where there is potential for incidental contact with food. These products meet the former guidelines (1998) of the US Department of Agriculture Food Safety and Inspection Service (USDA FSIS) for H1 use (lubricant with incidental food contact.
Applications
- Grease lubrication of friction and rolling / godet bearings in the
high-temperature range.
- Standard Chain Lubrication.
- Application, for example at tunnel kiln cars, baking, burn-in and
drying furnaces, hot gas units, reaction vessels, boiler plants, roller bearings
of fans motors etc. where there is high temperature and conveyor rollers in
continuous furnaces, etc.
- Use at bearing points under influence of chemicals/fuel.
- Textile applications where there is need of high temperature.
- Steamers & Bearing of Electric Motors, oven fans etc
Benefits
·
Maximum water and steam resistance.
·
Extraordinary resistance to chemicals, for example to solvents,
for example benzene, benzyl, acetone, trichloroethylene and against inorganic
acids, such as sulphuric acid, hydrochloric acid and nitric acid as well as
stearic acids, alcohols and halogens.
·
Excellent plastic and elastomer compatibility.
·
For long-term lubrication of lubrication points subjected to high
pressure up to 300°C.
·
Broad range of applications above the temperature limits of other
lubricating greases.
·
Reduced maintenance and lubricant costs due to possible lifetime
lubrication.
· NSF H1 Approved - Complying to Stringent health and hygiene requirements.
