SYF-990 VACUUMPLUS FG
FOOD GRADE VACUUM PUMP OIL
Product Description
The
choice of lubricant for mechanical vacuum pumps is of great importance.
Eventual incompatibilities with the evacuated media, condensation and/or sludge
and the adiabatic process circumstances may have a negative influence on the
vacuum pump lubricant. Damage to the oil film, sludge and lacquer formation
often occurs, which result increased wear on rotor, vanes & cylinder. Water
contamination will also damage the oil film. Extensive oil tests with leading
vacuum pump manufacturers in various applications like manufacturer of
vitamins, recycling of solvents at high temperatures, gas removal from
extruders, carbon fiber manufacture, surface treatment, semi-conductor
technology, galvanizing.
Registered by NSF (Class H1) for use where there is potential for incidental contact with food. These products meet the former guidelines (1998) of the US Department of Agriculture Food Safety and Inspection Service (USDA FSIS) for H1 use (lubricant with incidental food contact) and listed in Miscellaneous Publication No 1419 “List of Proprietary Substances and Nonfood Compounds”. Product contains only sub stances permitted under US 21 CFR 178.3570, 178.3620 and 182 for use in lubricants with incidental food contact.
