Product Description

SYF-990 PREVENTPLUS FG 12 is a food grade high quality oil-based rust preventive that forms a thin oily film which provides long term protection to ferrous and non-ferrous metals at a temperature up to 40⁰C.

It can be applied by brushing, spraying or dipping and the film formation takes place instantaneously.SYF-990 PREVENTPLUS FG 12 can be removed with the help of solvents or alkaline cleaners

The product is approved by NSF International as H1 grade Lubricant. The product meets requirements of USDA H1* 21 CFR. (Registered by NSF (Class H1) for use where there is potential for incidental contact with food. These products meet the former guidelines (1998) of the US Department of Agriculture Food Safety and Inspection Service (USDA FSIS) for H1 use (lubricant with incidental food contact) and listed in Miscellaneous Publication No1419 “List of Proprietary Sub stance and Nonfood Compounds”. Product contains only substances permitted under US 21 CFR 178.3570, 178.3620 and 182 for use in lubricants with incidental food contact.)

Applications

  SYF-990 PREVENTPLUS FG 12 gives Indoor Protection for periods of four to six months in following applications.

            ·        Protection during storage of cutting discs and knives used in food packaging industry.

·        Provides rust protection to finished machine components prior to packaging.

·        In Food Packaging, it provides protection during storage of moulds for plastic injection moulding.

·        Inter-operational rust protection of finished machined or ground metal surfaces.
