CHISEL PASTE
Product Description
CHISEL PASTE is an extreme pressure, high temperature paste fortified with a balanced blend of Copper, MOS2 and Graphite in a heavy duty, high film strength base oil. It is designed to lubricate and give “Armor-like “plating on the shaft, pins and bushings of hydraulic hammers and breakers. Due to its high solid content and non-melting synthetic thickener, it will not slide down the shank of the tool during its operation.
Solid lubricants (such as graphite and copper) with excellent release effect and ambient working temperature range from -20°C to 1100°C/(-4°F to 2012°F), suitable for applications both in cold weather and in high temperatures. High metal content acts ball bearing to minimize high-temperature friction between the surfaces in contact, resulting in less wear between the chisel, retainer bars and bushings. As a result, Chisel Paste reduces the cost of operation by extending the lifetime of the wear parts and reducing the risk of working tool fractures.
Benefits
·
The solid content (especially
the metal content) acts as a ball bearing, resulting in considerably less wear
on the bushings and working tools.
·
You can work with your
breaker for long, continuous periods, even in warmer climates, with the chisel
paste keeping its protective properties.
·
Fast and clean change
of cartridges with the Conti lube II lubrication system when you run out of
chisel paste.
·
Temperature ranges
from -20°C to +1100°C / -4°F to +2012°F.
·
Excellent EP (Extreme
Pressure) properties and good release effect.
Features
·
It is a very high temperature grease which use
non-conventional chemistries
·
Thickener infusible or with a very high dropping point
·
Base oils showing exceptional resistance to oxidation
·
Thermal and mechanical stability
·
No formation of lacquer, no coking
