SYF-3930 ESTER BASED BIODEGRADABLE HYDRAULIC OIL
Product Description
SYF-3930 is an ester base BIODEGRADABLE ZINC FREE HYDRAULIC OIL which has been specifically formulated with biodegradable Ester base stocks having unusually high temperature lubricating capability. Careful selection of additives results in a fluid which resists high temperature decomposition and prevents the formation of sludge or carbon normally produced by petroleum based products. This results in longer equipment life, less maintenance, better efficiency, while costly downtime is significantly reduced. SYF-3930 oils have a high fire resistance and therefore reduce the possibility to become inflamed by potential fire sources, proven in the FACTORY MUTUAL STANDARD Spray-Flame Test. SYF-3930 oils are miscible with mineral oil and therefore best suited for the re-oiling of equipment under observation of the conversion guidelines.
Applications
SYF-3930 is primarily
recommended for severe service or extreme temperature applications. These include
hydraulic systems - ice machines, air compressors - turbines and
circulating systems. SYF-3930 will also provide extra-long service life in any general-purpose system where R
& O anti-wear type lubricants are required. The oil drain interval has been extended
from the normal
6 months, to over one year. Wear has proven
to be extremely low and operating temperatures have been greatly reduced.
SYF-3930
oils are multi-purpose hydraulic fluids with a large working temperature range,
high viscosity index and good
lubricating properties. They can be applied in mobile and working hydraulic
systems, hydraulic travelling mechanism and control hydraulic
systems, where the risk of entering the environment exists,
also as HDFU-fluids in hydraulic systems where due to the
presence of high-temperature materials there is a potential fire risk. The
range of application is
substantially bigger than that of vegetable-oil-based lubricants.
